What is the difference between DNS Transfer and Domain Registrar Transfer

You can sign up using a domain name that you already own. After successful order form submission, we will set up your account. Our hosting platform will be set up to accept your domain name.

In order to get your domain name to function with our hosting platform, you will need to perform a DNS Transfer.

DNS Transfer
You will simply need to update your domain\'s name servers to point to our DNS, which is:
ns1.alpshost.com
ns2.alpshost.com

You should be able to accomplish this using the web interface provided by your domain registrar.

Your current domain registrar will continue to manage your domain. For example, you will pay them for your domain renewal fees.

Please note, that this is different than a Domain Registrar Transfer. A domain registrar transfer is when you transfer your domain from your current domain registrar to another domain registrar. For example, after a Domain Registrar Transfer, you would pay a different company for your domain renewal fees.

Alps HOST is not a domain registrar.
