How to change main domain in solidcp?
For changing the domain menu which is connected to a host in SolidCP please follow the steps bellow:
Note: By changing the domain menu which is connected to a host in SolidCP , all Email accounts will be deleted, then before doing so, you should back up your Email accounts. In order to back up your Email accounts mailboxes, you can use Email software such as Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird and etc. About the Email accounts themselves, you should create them on the hosting space again.
1- You should log in to your Host control panel via cp.yourdomain (Please replace "yourdomain" with your domain name e.g. "test.com"), then by entering the username and password of your control panel, you can enter your host control panel.
2- In main page of SolidCP , by navigating the mouse on Mail icon, click on Accounts. By clicking on mentioned part you can see all of your Email accounts. Now you should delete all Email accounts which belong to Domain in question.
3- Now click on Mail >> Domains (Hosting Space menue on the left). Then click on your domain. By clicking on mentioned part, you can see your Mail Domain, then for deleting the Mail Domain click on Delete button.
4- After deletion of your Mail Domain you should delete the website which exists on your control panel as well. In order to do so, in your hosting space menue navigate to "Web & Applications" part then click on "Web Sites" icon. Afterwards, choose your domain name by clicking on it. On loaded page click on Delete button.
5- Now, you should go to system section and click on Domains icon. Then click on your domain name, afterwards you can delete the domain in question by clicking on delete button.
6- Now, on hosting space, click on Domains icon and then click on Add Domain. On appeared page choose "Domain" then type the new domain name completely (e.g. test.com) then mark the "Create Website" and "Create Mail Box" and "Enable DNS" options. Now your new domain as well as your new mail domain and new website are created.
